


Terry graduated from Naropa University in 1983 with a Masters Degree in Eastern and Western Psychology.She has worked in Outpatient Community Mental Health and in private practice for 27 years.
Terry has been interested in mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy since 1994 when she attended a training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
She first encountered DBT in 2001 and led a DBT skills group at Sound Mental Health from 2004 to 2008.
Terry maintains a private practice on Capitol Hill. She works with adults experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depression. She focuses on skills to help people accept experiences, place them in a different context, develop greater clarity about personal values, and commit to needed behavior change. back
