Bob Goettle

Bob graduated from Antioch University in 1997 with a Masters Degree in Psychology. He has been working in the mental health field in various capacities for the last 15 years.

Bob's DBT background began in 1998, when he participated in a year-long training program conducted by Treg Isaacson, a veteran therapist with Marsha Linehan's Research and Therapy Clinic.

Soon after, Bob began teaching DBT skills groups, and has been doing so ever since.

In addtion to the group at Maple Leaf DBT, Bob leads skills groups in a research study under the direction of Dr. Linehan at the University of Washington.

Bob is particularly interested in therapies that have been research-tested and shown to be effective.

In practice outside of DBT, he uses treatment methods derived from behavioral science to help people with anxiety, depression, impulsiveness, and interpersonal difficulties.
